What the documents show

All findings sourced to official DOJ releases or named investigative reporting.

Mentioned 1,000+ times across 3.5M+ pages

Trump's name appears more than 1,000 times in the released documents — more than any other named non-victim individual.

FBI compiled internal list of 12+ allegations against Trump

The FBI created an internal document listing more than 12 allegations related to Trump, organized by severity. This document was released as part of the 2026 waves.

One accuser interviewed by FBI four times

A woman who alleged Trump assaulted her when she was 13–15 years old was interviewed by the FBI four separate times. Investigators don't conduct four interviews with a witness they dismiss.

DOJ withheld 53+ pages of FBI summaries mentioning Trump

Despite the Transparency Act's requirements, the DOJ initially withheld more than 53 pages of FBI interview summaries. NPR's investigation identified the gap. The documents were coded as 'duplicative.' The DOJ later released them.

Internal DOJ email: Trump flew on Epstein's jet 'many more times than previously reported'

An internal DOJ email confirmed at least 8 documented flights from 1993–1996, describing the number as significantly higher than publicly known.

One flight: Trump listed with only Epstein and a 20-year-old passenger

Flight records show one specific trip with Trump, Epstein, and a single 20-year-old passenger — no other travelers documented.

File #468 (Trump-Epstein photo) removed, then restored

A photograph of Trump with Epstein was removed from the DOJ document portal within hours of its initial posting. After media coverage of the removal, it was restored.

The withheld pages — and what they contained

While releasing documents and labeling allegations against Trump "untrue and sensationalist," the Trump-appointed DOJ simultaneously withheld the specific FBI interview summaries that contained those allegations. NPR's investigation on February 24, 2026 identified the gap. House Oversight Democrats stated the DOJ "appears to have illegally withheld" the documents. The DOJ released them on March 5–6, 2026 after public and congressional pressure.
